According to GameSpot, the aircraft was developed together with iniBuilds, a regular partner of the studio, and is part of the so-called Exclusive Series, which means it can only be purchased for three months.

Our take

At Underworld Lordz we understand that flight simulation plays by different rules than competitive gaming. High-fidelity aircraft have been sold as premium products for years, with small teams putting in countless hours to replicate every switch, and that work has a cost. An A380 with full systems is not comparable to a weapon skin. That said, a single aircraft exceeding the price of the full game is a headline Microsoft brought on itself, and it does not help the simulator look accessible to newcomers.

What really bothers us is the three-month window. Combining a high price with time pressure is a textbook FOMO tactic, and in our community we have already seen how that formula ends up generating frustration: people buying out of fear of missing out rather than a genuine desire to use it. If the product is as good as promised, it should be able to sell without a stopwatch.

For content creators, on the other hand, this is a goldmine. A giant, exclusive aircraft with features as absurd as waste management is perfect for streams, long-haul flight challenges and real-life comparisons.
