NVIDIA has unveiled the October lineup for GeForce NOW, its cloud gaming service. In total, 25 titles will be added to the supported library over the course of the month. According to Vandal, first on the list is The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt - Remastered, which you can already stream if you own the game on Battle.net, Xbox Play Anywhere or Microsoft Store.
Why does it matter? Because October is packed with releases, and this time GeForce NOW isn't just padding its catalog with years-old games. Gears of War: E-Day lands on the service in the same month it launches. For anyone playing on a modest laptop or who doesn't want to spend a fortune on a graphics card, that's the difference between playing on day one and watching other people play it on Twitch.

What you need to know
- GeForce NOW will add 25 games to its supported catalog during October.
- The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt - Remastered is available now for anyone who owns it on Battle.net, Xbox Play Anywhere or Microsoft Store.
- Gears of War: E-Day and STAR WARS: Galactic Racer arrive on October 6.
- October 13 is one of the busiest days, with four additions, including Planet Zoo 2 and Total War: SHOGUN 2 Complete Edition.
- The list will keep growing with new arrivals from October 14 onward.
The October schedule, day by day
These are the confirmed dates in the information gathered by Vandal. It's not the full list of all 25, but it is the most exciting batch from the first half of the month:
| Date | Games |
|---|---|
| Available now | The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt - Remastered |
| October 6 | Gears of War: E-Day, STAR WARS: Galactic Racer |
| October 8 | Clive Barker's Hellraiser: Revival, Order of the Sinking Star, Silver Pines |
| October 13 | Deep Dish Dungeon, Planet Zoo 2, Total War: SHOGUN 2 Complete Edition, Valor Mortis |
Who this affects
It's worth remembering how the service works: GeForce NOW doesn't sell you games; it lets you run the ones you already own from supported stores on its servers. That's why the platform details matter so much. In the case of The Witcher 3 Remastered, support is tied to Battle.net, Xbox Play Anywhere and Microsoft Store. If you bought it from another store, check carefully before assuming you'll be able to play it in the cloud.
The mix also says a lot about the strategy. There are blockbusters like Gears of War: E-Day, horror with Hellraiser: Revival, management with Planet Zoo 2, a strategy classic like SHOGUN 2, and smaller titles such as Deep Dish Dungeon and Silver Pines. NVIDIA wants the service to work for almost every kind of player.

Our take
Here at Underworld Lordz, we see it clearly: Gears of War: E-Day hitting the cloud in its launch month is the best part of the announcement. For a content creator, being able to cover a big release without high-end hardware is gold. You can record, stream and join the conversation with the rest of the community without having to save up for a new graphics card. It also brings the scene closer to many players in Latin America, where hardware costs far more relative to income.
That said, let's be honest with the competitive crowd. The cloud works great for a Witcher campaign or for building zoos, but in demanding multiplayer, latency is still king. If you plan to take Gears online seriously, the experience depends heavily on your connection and how close you are to a server. Nobody should prepare for a tournament blindly relying on streaming.
And one criticism: the 25-games headline sounds great, but the number matters less than the conditions. Support tied to specific stores is still a headache for the average user. If you have to read the fine print to find out whether your copy works, something's wrong. More clarity, please.
What do you think?
Is the cloud ready for serious gaming, or is it still a plan B for when you're away from your PC? Are you going to try Gears of War: E-Day or The Witcher 3 Remastered via streaming? Drop by the team chat or our Discord and let us know: would you play a competitive match on GeForce NOW?
