GTA 6: Cyberleek Strikes Again with 25 Minutes of Leaked Gameplay

Just when it seemed the storm had passed, Grand Theft Auto 6 is at the center of another leak. According to GameSpot, the leaker known as Cyberleek has reportedly posted a video of roughly 25 minutes of never-before-seen gameplay and cutscenes from Rockstar's game, and did so just a few weeks before launch. The alarm was first raised on the subreddit dedicated to Cyberleek, where a user shared a screenshot of what appears to be a freshly uploaded file, though they admitted they hadn't been able to download it.

Why does it matter? Because we're no longer talking about a stray clip lasting a few seconds, but a long chunk of content that could spoil a good part of the experience right when hype is at its peak. And because it confirms what many suspected: Cyberleek's operation wasn't shut down, just on hold.

What You Need to Know

• Cyberleek has reportedly uploaded a video of approximately 25 minutes featuring GTA 6 gameplay and cutscenes.
• The news broke on Reddit; the author of the post admitted they couldn't download the file, while other users were still trying.
• In August, the same leaker had already released a series of shorter clips from the game.
• Days earlier, a mysterious poll with an October 8 deadline appeared on their website, and new activity was reported in a cryptocurrency wallet linked to the project.
• It's unclear whether the same person who started the operation is behind this latest move.

From the August Drip-Feed to the 25-Minute Video

The timeline, as reported by GameSpot, makes a fair amount of sense. Throughout August, Cyberleek kept releasing short snippets of GTA 6 gameplay, a drip-feed strategy that kept the community hooked for weeks. Then came the silence. That pause was broken this week by two signals: a cryptic poll on their website with an October 8 deadline and the reactivation of a cryptocurrency wallet tied to the project.

That last detail is the one that stands out to us the most. A leak going hand in hand with a crypto wallet suggests there may be more at play here than just wanting to show off exclusive footage. And the uncertainty over who's behind it adds another layer: if whoever is pulling the strings now isn't the original leaker, anyone could be using the name to grab attention, or outright money.

Is the Video Real?

As of today, the honest answer is that there's no confirmation. The available information points to a file that appears to be new and users trying to download it, not a video that has been verified and analyzed from start to finish. Until someone watches it in full and its origin is confirmed, it's best taken with a grain of salt.

Our Take

Here at Underworld Lordz, our stance is clear: leaks of this magnitude do more harm than good. We get the anticipation, since GTA 6 is probably the most anticipated release of the decade, but 25 minutes of cutscenes and gameplay just weeks before launch offer nothing you won't enjoy far more with a controller in your hands. All they guarantee is spoilers and a version of the game that might not even be final.

For content creators, the message is even more straightforward. If you stream or make videos, think twice before reacting to the footage or reusing clips. Beyond the risk of copyright claims and takedowns, you'd be giving visibility to an operation that, as far as we know, involves cryptocurrency and whose authorship isn't even clear. In the medium term, preparing guides, analysis and launch-day streams pays off far more than burning your channel for a few quick views.

And for those already thinking about the competitive scene and online play, what really matters will come later: server stability, multiplayer mode balance and how Rockstar handles its community. None of that will show up in a leaked video. Be patient: it's almost here.

What Do You Think?

Now it's your turn. Some people can't resist taking a peek, while others would rather go into launch knowing nothing. Let us know in the team chat or on our Discord: is it worth watching 25 leaked minutes of GTA 6 when you're just weeks away from playing it yourself?
