The countdown to GTA 6 is now showing up even in peripherals. As reported by Eurogamer España, GXTrust, Trust's gaming line, has unveiled the GXT 882 Miami, a bundle inspired by the look of 1980s Miami, the same aesthetic that GTA Vice City turned into an icon. It includes three pieces to refresh your desk in one go: a TKL keyboard, a wireless mouse weighing just 75 grams and an XXL mouse pad.
It might seem like minor news amid all the pre-launch noise, but it reflects something interesting: the November 19 release is already moving the market far beyond the game itself. Manufacturers know that millions of players are going to upgrade their setups, fire up their streams and spend hours in front of the screen. And for those of us who play seriously, there's one detail that deserves more attention than the neon: the weight of the mouse.

What you need to know
- The GXT 882 Miami is a bundle from GXTrust, Trust's gaming division.
- It combines a TKL keyboard, a wireless mouse and an XXL mouse pad.
- The mouse weighs just 75 grams.
- The design draws on the 1980s Miami aesthetic popularized by GTA Vice City.
- It arrives as a nod to the wait for GTA 6, scheduled for November 19.
A kit designed to overhaul your desk all at once
The combination makes sense from a practical standpoint. The TKL format, meaning no number pad, has been the favorite in competitive play for years because it frees up space to the right of the keyboard and leaves more room for mouse movement. If you play shooters at low sensitivity, those extra centimeters make a difference on every quick flick.
The XXL mouse pad follows the same logic: a large surface that sits under both keyboard and mouse, keeps them from sliding and leaves room for long swipes. The third piece, the 75-gram wireless mouse, is the one that draws the most interest. A lightweight mouse puts less strain on your wrist during long sessions and allows for quicker adjustments, something both FPS players and anyone grinding demanding matches all night will appreciate.
That said, the available information focuses on the concept and design. There are no details on the sensor, polling rate, battery life or the keyboard's switch type, which are exactly the specs that will decide whether this bundle has staying power beyond its looks.
Vice City as a hook: nostalgia and hype
Trust isn't the first brand to ride the wave of a major release, and it won't be the last. The Vice City aesthetic, with its pinks, teals and neon lights, is instantly recognizable and appeals to two audiences at once: those who played the original and those arriving now, drawn in by the buzz surrounding GTA 6. The bundle leans on that shared memory to sell itself with no apparent license, simply by evoking an era and a vibe.
It's a smart marketing move: instead of a standalone peripheral, it offers a cohesive set for anyone who wants their desk to tell a story, right when more people than ever will be looking at it.
Our take
Here at Underworld Lordz we like peripherals with personality, and we think the Miami concept is well executed as an idea. But let's be clear: you don't pick a competitive setup by its color. A 75-gram mouse sounds good, although it's no longer a rarity on the market, and without knowing the sensor or the wireless latency it's impossible to say whether it can keep up with the demands of ranked play or tournaments.
For content creators, the picture is different. A desk with a recognizable look works on camera, strengthens a channel's identity and, with GTA 6 just around the corner, fits perfectly with the themed streams that are about to flood every platform. If your priority is the look and you play more casually, this bundle could be a sensible purchase.
Our advice: don't get carried away by the hype. Wait for full reviews, check the specs once they're published and compare them with what you already have. If the performance lives up to the design, great; if not, you can always get that '80s vibe with an LED strip and a good stream theme.
