For those who compete, this collaboration changes absolutely nothing about the gameplay, and that's a good thing. The Kingdom Hearts outfits will be cosmetic and shouldn't affect the balance in ranked matches or tournaments. What does change is the atmosphere: when a crossover of this calibre arrives, lobbies fill up, general interest rises and live viewership numbers usually follow. It's a good time for the team's content creators to prepare dedicated material and make the most of the momentum.

Our criticism lies elsewhere. If Epic has all four characters ready, as the hints and ShiinaBR suggest, it would be far more honest to announce them directly instead of feeding leaks. The Square Enix and Disney series has fans who have waited years to see these characters outside their own universe, and they deserve more than a four-letter riddle. Even so, we admit that the idea of seeing Sora with his Keyblade on the island gets us really excited.
