FC 27 TOTW 7: Mbappé at 93 leads a week with Gabriel, Bühl and plenty of strikers

EA Sports has released Team of the Week 7 for EA Sports FC 27, the latest batch of In-Form cards for Ultimate Team. As reported by Vandal, this week's selection is headlined by Kylian Mbappé, center-back Gabriel and German winger Klara Bühl, and it is already live for the whole community, both in Spain and around the world.

As usual, these upgraded versions can only be obtained for a limited period: the window closes on Wednesday, November 4 at 19:00 CET (Spain time). For anyone building a squad week by week in Ultimate Team, the TOTW is a fixed appointment that moves the market, shapes which packs are worth opening and forces you to decide whether to spend coins now or hold out until the next promo.

What you need to know

• TOTW 7 is now available in FC 27 Ultimate Team, with Mbappé, Gabriel and Klara Bühl as the main names.
• Deadline: the cards can be obtained until Wednesday, November 4 at 19:00 CET (Spain time).
• Mbappé leads the way with a 93 rating, followed by Gabriel at 90 and Bühl at 89.
• Strong presence of women players: Bühl, Georgia Stanway, Paulina Dudek and Amalie Vangsgaard make the selection.
• Mid-range options such as Osimhen, Milinkovic-Savic, Balerdi, Kramaric and Berenguer, interesting picks for tight budgets.

The Team of the Week 7 lineup

The team of the week follows the usual formula: it rewards the players who shone in the latest round of their competitions with an upgraded card. This is the list of players published by Vandal, with the position and overall rating of each In-Form:

The source also mentions one more striker at the end of the list, but their details are incomplete, so we are sticking only to the confirmed data.

What it means for your squad

The first thing that stands out is the positional imbalance: five strikers, three center-backs, two central midfielders, one left winger and one attacking midfielder. If you were hoping for an In-Form full-back or goalkeeper, this is not your week. On the other hand, if your attack needs fresh fuel, there is plenty to choose from at almost every price range, from the 93-rated Mbappé to Kramaric or Vangsgaard at the bottom of the table.

Gabriel at 90 is the name to watch for your defense. A center-back with that rating at this stage of the season usually becomes a staple in many competitive squads, and market demand reflects that quickly. Klara Bühl at 89 and Georgia Stanway at 87 reinforce the idea that women's cards are not filler: on the wing and in the middle of the pitch they can be serious alternatives to considerably more expensive men's options. The rest of the batch, between 81 and 86, works as quality fodder for Squad Building Challenges or as a cheap stopgap while you save up for something bigger.

Our take

From the Underworld Lordz editorial team, TOTW 7 looks like a solid week at the top and a predictable one everywhere else. Mbappé at 93 is a card anyone would want, but let's be honest: at this point most competitive players are not going to rebuild their starting eleven for an In-Form unless it drops in a pack. The real value for serious players lies in Gabriel and, for more modest budgets, in Bühl and Stanway, who offer a price-to-performance ratio that the elite of the table simply cannot match.

For content creators the reading is different. A 93-rated Mbappé in the first pack of the week is gold for a stream or a pack-opening video, and the November 4 deadline marks a clear window for planning content. That said, we insist on a criticism we repeat every week: EA keeps communicating its schedules only in Spain time, and our community in the Americas has to do the math every single time to avoid missing out. It costs nothing to provide time references for several regions.

And one deeper thought: with so many overlapping promos in Ultimate Team, the Team of the Week risks going unnoticed. The fact that a 93-rated card for one of the best players in the world feels almost routine says a lot about how far rating inflation has gone in the mode. We would love to see a TOTW with more identity, not just a list of numbers that creeps up a little every week.

What do you think?

The team is already debating whether chasing the 93-rated Mbappé is worth it or whether the smart move is to sign Gabriel and save the rest of your coins for the next promo. Are you going to open packs before November 4 or would you rather wait? Let us know in the team chat or on our Discord.
