New week, new Team of the Week. EA Sports has released TOTW 6 for EA Sports FC 27 in Ultimate Team, and this time the lineup is headlined by Luis Díaz, Lauren James and Yan Diomande. According to Vandal, the batch is already live in Spain and the rest of the world, so anyone opening packs or browsing the transfer market from today onwards can come across these upgraded versions.
Why does it matter to us at Underworld Lordz? Because the TOTW remains the weekly barometer of the Ultimate Team meta. It shows which cards are rising in price, which players stop being useful overnight and which targets become priorities for anyone competing in Rivals, Champions or our community tournaments. And, as always, the clock is ticking: these cards can only be obtained until Wednesday 28 October at 19:00 CEST (Spanish peninsular time).

What you need to know
- Luis Díaz is the jewel of TOTW 6 with an 89 rating, the highest of the entire selection.
- Lauren James (86) and Yan Diomande (85) round out this week's podium.
- Twelve cards in total, including names very familiar to Spanish-speaking fans such as Antoine Griezmann and Mikel Oyarzabal, both rated 85.
- Limited availability: until Wednesday 28 October at 19:00 (Spanish peninsular time). After that, the transfer market will be the only option.
- The source information comes from Vandal, which has published the full team list.
The full squad, card by card
Here is the complete TOTW 6 lineup as reported by Vandal, sorted by rating. Note that the mix of positions is fairly unbalanced: right-sided wide players and strikers are plentiful, while the defence contributes just two centre-backs.
| Position | Player | Rating |
|---|---|---|
| LM | Luis Díaz | 89 |
| ST | Lauren James | 86 |
| LW | Yan Diomande | 85 |
| CAM | Antoine Griezmann | 85 |
| ST | Mikel Oyarzabal | 85 |
| RM | Jarrod Bowen | 84 |
| RM | Pedro Neto | 83 |
| CB | Javi Rodríguez | 82 |
| ST | Pauline Bremer | 82 |
| CAM | Ibrahim Maza | 82 |
| RM | Diego Gómez | 80 |
| CB | Oliver Provstgaard | 80 |
What changes for competitive players
The real impact of a TOTW is not measured by the highest card alone, but by how many of them actually make it into competitive squads. The clear case here is Luis Díaz at 89: a left-sided player with that rating in week six of the cycle is a serious option for any Champions starting eleven, and his price will most likely reflect that. Lauren James at 86 and Diomande at 85 form the second tier, cards that can slot in as starters in upper-mid-level teams or as impact substitutes for the most demanding players.
The 85-rated group with Griezmann and Oyarzabal holds special appeal for the Spanish-speaking community, although it is wise not to buy on name alone. What matters in November is not what they do today, but whether their cards hold up against those arriving in upcoming promos. And then there is the bottom of the table: Javi Rodríguez, Bremer, Maza, Diego Gómez and Provstgaard, rated between 80 and 82, are cards you are unlikely to see in a top 200, but they do have a place in Squad Building Challenges and as cheap chemistry pieces over the coming days.
Keep the deadline in mind. While TOTW 6 is in packs, market supply is plentiful and prices tend to stay more contained. From Wednesday 28 at 19:00 Spanish peninsular time, whatever is left will depend on speculation by those who have stockpiled cards.

Our take
From the Underworld Lordz editorial team, we see a TOTW 6 with a very clear head and a rather uneven body. Luis Díaz justifies the week on his own, and he is exactly the kind of card we would recommend keeping an eye on for any player who takes Rivals or Champions seriously. The rest of the team, however, repeats a pattern we are already tired of: too many right-sided wide players and strikers, almost nothing in defence and zero goalkeepers among the twelve. For anyone building squads with balance in mind, this is a one-purchase week.
For content creators, on the other hand, the batch has more to offer than it seems. Griezmann and Oyarzabal are names that spark conversation among Spanish-speaking audiences, and the presence of women's cards like those of Lauren James and Pauline Bremer remains a topic that divides the community and makes for debate and live testing. If you make pack-opening, market or review videos, there is material here for several days without having to invent anything.
Our underlying criticism is the same as always: the seven-day format forces quick decisions with little information, and that favours those who already have coins stockpiled or who pay. We would prefer longer windows or, at the very least, clearer communication from EA Sports about which cards will carry over into future versions. In the meantime, our advice is simple: go for Luis Díaz if your squad needs him, use the rest for challenges and do not chase 80-rated cards just because they have the black TOTW background.
What do you think?
TOTW 6 is out now and you have until 28 October to decide what to do with your coins. Do you think Luis Díaz at 89 is worth the investment at this point in the season, or would you rather save for what is coming next?
