EA Sports has rolled out the fourth Team of the Week for EA Sports FC 27, and it comes with some big names. As reported by Vandal, the new batch of Ultimate Team special cards is headlined by Alexia Putellas with a 92 rating, followed by Jude Bellingham (91) and Ewa Pajor (90). Once again, the lineup puts stars from the men's and women's game side by side, something that has become a regular feature of the game's most popular mode.

Why does it matter? Because week after week, the TOTW is one of the driving forces of the Ultimate Team market. These special versions are only available for a limited time, specifically until Wednesday, October 14 at 19:00 Spanish mainland time (CEST). That deadline shapes the decisions of competitive players: what to open, what to buy, what to sell and when to do it before the window closes.

What you need to know

  • FC 27 TOTW 4 is now live in Spain and worldwide.
  • Alexia Putellas, rated 92, is the highest card of the week, ahead of Jude Bellingham (91).
  • Ewa Pajor and Gianluigi Donnarumma share the third-highest rating, at 90 each.
  • The cards are available until Wednesday, October 14 at 19:00 (Spanish mainland time, CEST). If you're playing from another region, convert it to your local time zone so you don't miss out.
  • The lineup has a strong attacking profile, with several attacking midfielders and strikers among its standout names.

TOTW 4 squad in detail

The list compiled by Vandal includes more players, but these are the top eleven names, sorted by rating, along with their in-game position:

A Team of the Week built around the number 10

The first thing that stands out is the concentration of talent in the creative zone: three of the five highest-rated cards play at CAM. Putellas, Bellingham and Debinha are competing for the same slot in many formations, so not all of them will fit into a competitive squad without position changes or tactical tweaks. Up front, Pajor, Lewandowski and Marmoush offer variety at striker, while further down the list there are defensive options such as full-backs Cancelo and Kerkez.

The name most likely to change people's plans is Donnarumma. A 90-rated goalkeeper isn't a flashy card to pull on stream, but in close matches the keeper matters far more than it seems, and it tends to be one of the positions players rotate the least.

Our take

Here at Underworld Lordz, we're clear on this: TOTW 4 is a good week, but not one to go crazy over. Having three of the best cards fighting for the same position limits their real value in competitive play. Before spending coins or real money, ask yourself whether the card fits your system or whether you're just drawn to the big number. In Ultimate Team, a player who fits your formation is worth more than a star who forces you to break it.

That said, we're glad to see Alexia Putellas topping the list and cards like Pajor, Debinha and Hemp among the highest rated. Having men's and women's players together in squads is no longer a symbolic gesture: these are viable options worth trying rather than dismissing out of habit. Anyone ignoring these cards out of prejudice is leaving performance on the table.

Our usual criticism still stands: the expiry date is a pressure tool. The countdown to October 14 pushes players to open packs out of fear of missing out, and that benefits EA more than it benefits your squad. For content creators, the window is an obvious opportunity for videos and streams, but we ask you to be responsible: showing pack openings is fine; normalizing compulsive spending, not so much.
